Gender bias is a part of today's workplace that affects both men and women. Addressing gender bias can benefit your department, office, or business with:

  • Higher job satisfaction
  • Higher productivity
  • Lower turnover rates
  • Lower healthcare costs
  • Improved client relations

Join the University of Hartford's Entrepreneurial Center & Women's Business Center (EC-WBC) on Tuesday, November 13, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm, for the seminar, "Where Gender Equality Begins." It will be offered at the EC-WBC office, located at 222 Pitkin Street in East Hartford, CT. A special discounted fee of $50 is being offered to University of Hartford faculty, staff, and students. To register at the discounted rate, call 860.768.5681.

Learn how to unearth gender biases through small group sessions, journaling, and improvisational games geared for a working environment. You will walk away with an actionable method for addressing gender bias when sticky situations arise, whether within your team or in individual interactions. Without conflict. Without blame. You will know EXACTLY what to do.
