Please come hear University of Hartford professors Ines Rivera and T Stores read from their work, in the Fall 2018 Cardin Reading Series!

This event features two members of our community who have just published new books.

The reading will take place TODAY: Thursday, November 8th @ 12:15 PM in The Greenberg Center in Harry Jack Gray.  That's a new venue for the Cardin Reading Series.

In addition to her work as a UHart professor, Ines P. Rivera Prosdocimi is the author of the poetry collection, Love Letter to an Afterlife (Black Lawrence Press, 2018). Her work has appeared in Bellevue Literary Review, Cold Mountain Review, Kweli, Nimrod, Poet Lore, and Puerto de Sol.  She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Maryland and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from American University.

In addition to her work as a UHart Associate Dean, T Stores is the author of three novels and a new collection of short fiction, Frost Heaves, from Green Writers’ Press. Her work has appeared in Sinister Wisdom, Out Magazine, Blithe House, Bloom, and Fourth Genre. She is a graduate of the M.F.A. program at Emerson College.

And please join us after the reading at a reception for our readers!

The reading will include a Q&A and a book signing.  Books will be available for purchase.  This event is free and open to the public.

Please come celebrate the work of Professors Stores and Rivera!
