Banner Outage Starting Friday Evening Nov. 23 through Sunday Nov. 25

An extended Banner outage is scheduled for the weekend of 11/23 thru 11/25. This is expected to start late evening 11/23, and ending coming back online by evening 11/25. As one of the first major steps towards moving to Banner 9 in Production, the Banner PROD Oracle Database will be migrating to newer/faster hardware. In addition to positioning us for Banner 9, this migration is also expected to resolve a number of performance issues. 


Because of the size, complexity, and changing of platforms, this will be a multi-day process.


All Banner related services will be unavailable during this time.  The outage will include Bosscars, Banner Self-Service, Webforms/INB, Bosscars, Argos, and Workflow.



For those that approve or enter time sheets, please be sure to work around the known outage time frames.
