With forecast heavy rains for Saturday and the potential for both river and flash flooding, students are asked to avoid parking in low-lying areas of parking lots C, D, E (along the tree line), F (eastern most entrance by the pond), and N-Annex. Cars should now be on higher ground within these lots or in Lot F (by Konover Campus Center). Vehicles should be returned to their assigned parking lots by 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 21.

Professor Hemchandra Shertukde, Ph.D., P.E. of ECE Department was invited by the Cardiology Society of India (CSI) to share his research results on Non-invasive Angiography using Signal Characteristic Analysis and passive sensors in Mumbai from November 22-25, 2018 at their 70 th convention and exhibition at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) MMRDA Grounds.
The response from CSI Community of cardiologists was overwhelming as it is a first of it's kind non-invasive device compared to invasive angiography; subjecting patients with CAD no physical agony whatsoever.
This novel system has fast data collection property (100 Mega samples/sec) using passive acoustic sensors with a final 3-d report of the heart showing the constriction;that is generated in less than five minutes. The accuracy of location of stenosis in the coronary arteries of a human heart is less than 0.5 cm. A working device is called Electro Cardiac Acoustic Device (eCAD) and is manufactured by Diagnostic Devices Inc. (DDI). A handheld device as generation 4 is also available for purchase at
