Parking Advisory

With forecast heavy rains for Saturday and the potential for both river and flash flooding, students are asked to avoid parking in low-lying areas of parking lots C, D, E (along the tree line), F (eastern most entrance by the pond), and N-Annex. Cars should now be on higher ground within these lots or in Lot F (by Konover Campus Center). Vehicles should be returned to their assigned parking lots by 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 21.

On-Campus Speaker to Discuss Gang Violence Today

Iran Nazario will visit students next week to discuss his life, and persuading people out of gang memberships.

“Founder/President/CEO of the Peace Center of Connecticut, which serves as the central hub for individuals and organizations sharing the goal of a more peaceful Connecticut and for exploring collaborative solutions to violence. 

Recipient of numerous recognitions including the 2014 “Meet the Peacemaker Award,” 2015 “50 Most Influential Latino Award,” 2016 Senator Eric D. Coleman “Community Service Award,” and in 2017 named as “Pivotal Faces of Change,” CREC Polaris Award winner, and appointed as the International Peace Ambassador for the NYC Peace Museum.”
