Oscar Nominees and Winners to be Shown at Black History Month Film Series on Campus

Mark your calendar today so you won’t miss the outstanding movies coming to campus as part of the Black History Month Film Series. Just as the 2019 Oscar nominations have been announced comes your chance to see these great movies for the first time or see them again.

All of the movies will be shown at 6 p.m. in Wilde Auditorium on the dates shown below. Admission is free.

Monday, January 28 – Green Book (nominated for 2019 Best Picture, Best Lead Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Original Screenplay, Best Film Editing)

Thursday, February 7 – Blackkklansman (nominated for 2019 Best Picture,  Best Supporting Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Film Editing, Best Original Score)

Monday, February 11 – Marshall

Tuesday, February 19 – Dear White People

Wednesday, February 20 – Selma (Winner of 2015 Best Original Song)

Tuesday, February 26 – Moonlight (Winner 2017 Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay)
