Parking Advisory

With forecast heavy rains for Saturday and the potential for both river and flash flooding, students are asked to avoid parking in low-lying areas of parking lots C, D, E (along the tree line), F (eastern most entrance by the pond), and N-Annex. Cars should now be on higher ground within these lots or in Lot F (by Konover Campus Center). Vehicles should be returned to their assigned parking lots by 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 21.

UNotes Submission Form

Please use the form on the next page to submit articles, announcements, and accolades to UNotes. The deadline for submissions is 10 p.m. for the next business day. UNotes is published daily during the academic year, weekly during the summer.  UNotes is distributed in the 10 o'clock hour each morning, thus for morning events taking place before 11 a.m., please submit to appear in the prior day's edition.

If you are resubmitting an event that has previously run in UNotes, please limit total submissions about an event to a maximum of two per week outside the week of the event—and not on consecutive days. The Office of Marketing and Communication will confirm the appropriate category for your submission.

Please proofread your submission carefully. Once you have filled in the submission form, you will be given an opportunity to preview your work and make corrections as necessary.

For all submissions other than Accolades, your name will appear at the top of the article as the person who submitted the information.

Campus Calendar: If you submitted information about an upcoming event, please remember to enter it on the Campus Calendar.  Submitting an announcement to UNotes Daily does not put it on the Campus Calendar—that must be done separately.

The Office of Marketing and Communication reserves the right to reject or edit submissions to UNotes Daily and/or to return them for additional editing. No material appearing in a UNotes article, or in subsequent links from a UNotes article, may contain offensive language. Submissions will not be accepted that are commerical in nature or that do not relate to the University of Hartford.
